Albertkanaal
This is the longest waterway of Belgium and connects the areas of Liège, Limburg and Antwerp. It connects the industrial area of Liège with the sea port of Antwerp and is thus a canal which is strongly used by big cargo ships.


No reason to avoid it since it crosses a region with wide pasture, beautiful woods, ancient towns and magnificent stately homes.
