Kanaal van Bocholt naar Herentals
Provinces Antwerp and Limburg

Kanaal van Bocholt naar Herentals lies in the provinces of Antwerp and Limburg. It is one of the real rural canals of Belgium. At Herentals our canal takes leave of Albertkanaal to the northeast, direction Netherlands, but it turns back at Lommet again to the southeast and flows into the Zuidwillemsvaart at Bocholt and finally at Maastricht again back into the Albertkanaal. A branch canal goes from Bocholt-Herentals to Leopoldsburg. Bocholt-Herentals runs, with the exception of a few industrial areas, through a very nice region with the charming villages of province Limburg.
