After the town of Donji Milhojac, it leaves the border finally and stays for 73 km reserved to Croatia only. After the northeast Croatian town of Ossijek it flows into River Drava and then into River Danube.

Limited navigation is possible on about 160 km until the Hungarian town of Bacs, it even has a pontoon there. Above this town, one is leaving civilization behind. Apart of two to three camping places one can’t find any houses or villages, not to speak of towns.
