Canal de St. Quentin
It is a comfortable and spectacular canal. Comfortable as far as surroundings are concerned and spectacular for the “Grand souterrain” with its construction for towage. Ships used to be pulled across the entire crest position; today one restrains this to the tunnel.

Bigger places along the Canal de Saint Quentin:
Saint Quentin, Cambrai

Boating holiday in Picardy:
This actually rather nice surrounding does not offer any tourism infrastructure along the canals.
Tourism
Of some interest are the cities of St. Quentin and Cambrai.
Wine and Dine
Food is either generally French or, if one is lucky, more towards the cooking of the Picardy region.
