Liaison Dunkerque - Escaut, Grand Gabarit | Waterways in France

La Lys
is navigable from the Belgian city of Gent, crosses the southeast of the country, is then for some kilometers the French-Belgium border before it goes on French grounds entirely at Armentières. At Aire sur Lys it flows into the “Liaison au Grand Gabarit Dunkirk-Escaut”. It is not as busy as the parallel waterway in the east, Schelde/Escaut, and is therefore preferred by leisure boaters.

Tourism
concentrates on a large offer for wanderers at the Moment.
Your houseboat holiday:

Wine and Dine
