Küstenkanal and lower  Hunte River
Since big vessels are no longer navigating on this waterway. It has become a very popular holiday destination, this also, because of the town of Oldenburg. Enthusiasts of horses may stay a bit longer and visit one of the studs for the wonderful, very proud old horse race; the Oldenburg horses!
The seamen’s town of Elsfleth, with about 9000 citizens, is one of the oldest places along the lower Weser, it offers good infrastructure.

Wine and Dine
North German and east Frisian food is served. The cellar has a part of ales and fruit juices no local drinks to offer. Find here some recipes for game specialties served in the Weser marsh.
