Waterway has access to:

Ems-Jade-Kanal | Germany
Leda River und Elisabethfahnkanal | Germany

A truly gorgeous waterway
which branches off River Leda after the charming old port city of Leer and leads over Jüme and Nordgeorgsfehnkanal to the Ems-Jade-Kanal. The canal system of the Fehn Moore lands belongs to the most beautiful in Germany. It is unfortunate that the Nordgeorgsfehnkanal allows a maximum head room of only 1.20 m and therefore very small boats only.

Tourism in Eastern Friesland:
As already mentioned, canal and rivers of this area are not suitable for house boats, for canoeists however, they are a real El Dorado!
Wiesmoor, the “flower town” should be mentioned here. Not only have all the roads the name of a flower, if you go there in season, you will be able to enjoy a real floridity.
