Grand Union - Leicester Section
The canal parts from the Grand Union Main Line at Norton Junction, west of Northampton and continues by way of Leicester and the Soar Navigation northwards to the River Trent. The major branches are the Welford, 2.6 km long with one lock and Market Harborough, which also has one lock but is 7.7 km long.
