the branch canal starts at the Romanian town of Temesvar and goes over 40 km very straight to the border of Serbia, continuing then for 29 km in Serbia until it meets the small River Bega which flows after a few km into River Tisza, flowing a bit further south into River Danube.
Even though, the canal is in good condition, it's not taken care off at the moment. Apart of some smaller private boats there is no navigation on it.
