River Wjatka
comes of the western outliers of Ural and flows after 1300 km into River Kama a bit south of the town of Mamadysh.

Wjatka becomes reasonably navigable at Kirov, the capital of the Oblast with the same name which has 470'000 habitants.
From here, River Wjatka crosses pleasant, agricultural and hilly surroundings and there are for Russian measures rather many communities along the banks. Since winter is here in the northeast also west of Ural long and strong, the river is frozen for many months.
