Danube-Tisza-Danube-Canal (Dunav-Tisa-Dunav Canal)
This is a wide spread canal system in the north Serbian Province of Vojvodina. It starts with some cross links at upper Danube at km 1426, goes in a huge bow to the southeast and then at km 1078 again into River Danube.

Unfortunately, the connecting lock to the Danube at Bezdan which is still in a rather good order is still out of order. Therefore, partial stretches in the northeast are a dead-end. The western arm of DTD goes more or less parallel to River Danube to Novi Sad, the eastern one to crosses the region below the town of Dubovac at the Romanian border.
