or, the Spanish sun – unspoiled! A river travelled for centuries, extending from the Catalan coast into the countryside. This river passes lovely landscape. It is unfortunately only navigable partially; from the coast a few kilometres inside, depending on water level, until Tortosa or, with ideal conditions, up to about Maravet and then again from up the weirs of Riba-Roja d'Ebre to the barrage of Mequinenza.
