blank_pageTourism & Information
This is another jewel in the Bernese mountain region; with its beautiful villages, the crystal-clear water and its paddle steamers. It is more mellifluous as its brother, the Lake of Brienz which is surrounded by cliffy slopes. Both lakes are fed by the river Aare.

blank_pageWine and Dine
Being in the mountains still, the original cuisine is rather common. But gastronomy offers whatever their visitors might think of. The cities of Thune and Interlaken are worldwide known resorts and practically every village along the lake serves delicious food. Even though there are a few wine yards on the east edge of the lake, drinks come from outside mostly.
